vol.5 キドリハ通信～欲しがりません立つまでは第 4章～

 

 

今週末は友人結婚式で奈良に来ています。

 

 

そして、ホテルでの宿泊。
今回も、一般的なビジネスホテルで宿泊しました。

 

 

やはり乗り越えなければいけないトイレ、バスルーム。

 

 

実際はこんな感じです。
まぁ、よくある一般的なビジネスホテルのバスルームですね。

 

 

入り口にはこれくらいの段差があります。

 

 

そこへ、キャスター(前輪)をひっかけます。
幸い、トイレの位置はドアのすぐ近くなので、車椅子をひっかけたままトイレへトランス。

 

 

これでトイレはクリアしたので、次は風呂へ。
お風呂は間に洗面台がある分少し距離があるので、直接トランスするには少し遠いです。

 

 

 

そこで使ったのが、オーストラリアでも活用したバゲージラックです。

 

 

 

 

 

このように、トイレとバスの間に置き、バゲージラックの上にバスタオルを敷いてトランス、バゲージラックを経由し、浴槽へトランスしました。

 

 

 

コレで無事、シャワーを浴びることができました。

 

 

 

さて、今日は、キドリハブログをキッカケに知り合った奈良在住の脊損者の方と、一緒にトレーニングをしている整骨院の肩を訪ねる予定で、今在来線を乗り継いで移動中です。

 

 

 

では、今日も、張り切っていきましょう！

Hi there!

 

 

 

I have been in Nara prefecture in Japan since yesterday to join the wedding party for my friend. The party was so great and special day!

 

 

 

And I stayed at “hotel for business” in Nara.

 

 
“hotel for business” is really common type of hotel. Though It is not so big, it is really reasonable and not so bad.

 

 

 

But…it is tiny especially for the people with wheelchair and they generally have a step between bedroom and bathroom.

 

 

This is a photo of the step at bathroom.

 

 

 

I usually should have good imagination to beyond this kind of barrier.

 

 

 

I put the casters of wheelchair on the step like this and I can transfer to the toilet.

 

 

 

 

It’s too far to transfer from toilet to bathtub.
I had a good idea that I bring a baggage rack Between them.

 

 

 

I can transfer to bathtub via baggage rack.

 

 

Finally I took a shower in bathtub and I got one more success experience!!

 

 
That’s cool right?
